If you are organizing an event and want to include some great music, I highly recommend hiring The LangWelZ to perform for you. The LangWelZ are veteran performers and really know how to please a crowd.
I went to a party specifically to hear them and was so glad I went. Lauri has a great voice and a great stage presence. She plays guitar, dances and is very expressive. Charlie is a gifted guitar player and sings and adds vocal harmonies.
The attendees at this event were in our mid to late 60s and we wanted to hear the familiar songs of our youth. They really understood what this crowd wanted, and we all had a great time. Lauri and Charlie hung out after they performed, and their warmth combined with the joy and energy of the crowd was infectious.
I recommend you hire them for the next event you organize.

​The LangWelZ played for my mom and stepdad's wedding reception in western PA, and it was amazing! This group has great talent, and their song list applies to all generations. They even learned a few new songs for the special day! We wanted live music, which the kids and adults all danced to, but didn't want a large band. They also happily MC'ed the introductions and toasts. Their preparation and organization helped lower stress for the big day and added so much to our family celebration! We have had The LangWelZ Duo play for our residents on several occasions. They are very talented, kind, energetic and professional! Lauri and Charlie tailor their song selection for our events so our residents love to sing along with them! Many of our residents enjoy playing rhythm instruments brought along by The LangWelZ; it's clear their minds and hearts are happily engaged and their energy is high! ​We have hosted The LangWelZ at both CADENCE + Clubhouse and Cellars Speakeasy on several occasions. Our customers are very receptive to their energy, song choices and style. Playing great songs from the past 60 years, crowds of all ages are guaranteed to hear some of their favorite hits. They are great to work with, always prompt and enthusiastic to share their craft with our audience. Lauri and Charlie are genuine, nice people. ​We had seen The LangWelZ perform at the Cadence Clubhouse at North Park this summer and were very impressed with their singing and musical skills.​
We learned that they could perform at private parties as well as other venues.​
As a result, we had them come sing at a party on our deck with about 25 of our friends attending in September. They were excellent in their song selection and singing and guitar playing. I had a number of comments from our guests how good they were.​
They definitely added to the festivities and made it a very enjoyable evening for everyone!
We would definitely have them join us again in the future.

Lauri and Charlie did a fantastic job playing at our wedding reception. Their music was perfect for our group with a mixture of old and recent songs. They kept the kids entertained and dancing all evening. Their music was loud enough to be heard but conversations could still continue. They even learned a special song for our first dance. The Langwelz performed for our company picnic event and they were amazing! They had a set list for all ages for the kids and parents as well as made it interactive to bring instruments for the kids to play along with.
